What should you expect from a Market Appraisal / Property valuation with Next Move Homes.


In this short read, we share with you what to expect when you ask us to visit your property for a market appraisal / valuation.


During our visit we will ask you lots of questions so we can get at the heart of what makes your home special.


We will also ask to have a tour of your property. During this time it is helpful to point out any changes or refurbishments you have made since owning the property but also what you like most about living there that a potential buyer may like too.


A visit normally last around 30-40 minutes depending on the size of the property. Our team always allow a little longer so they can take time to answer any questions you may have and not feel rushed at all.


We will take time to discuss with you our marketing plan. With all our properties, we launch to our database of buyers and to our social media following as part of our pre-launch strategy. Once our professional photographer has edited all the photographs and video tour, we then launch the property onto Rightmove and Zoopla.


Prior to when the appointment is booked, we will prepare a price guide which is unique for your property. These will include a number of properties which have been sold in the local area within the last 6 months. We will also take time to discuss with you the current market conditions. Ultimately, we want to achieve the best possible price within a timeframe that fits in with your needs.


At the end of the appointment our team will leave you with some information about Next Move Homes and also our 3 step guide to selling your home. We will also follow up our visit with a letter explaining the price we recommend to sell your property for and also our fees, both of which would have been discussed with you during our visit.
